They have all helped me when I am in need and it would be wrong to just abandon them. It does not matter what happens to me as long as they are safe as I love them. I would be feeling worse when those that are important to me get hurt rather than me getting hurt.

I agree with Brendan: I would defend my country at all costs, but not at the risk of my own life, because if I get hurt, I would not be able to defend my country and the consequences might be disastrous.
