2) I will protect my parents as without them, i would not be here today. I will protect my friends as they are the people that keep me company when I am bored. I will protect those that I love as without them I am nothing. I will also protect the world from threats like Global Warming as without the world, I would have no where to live in.

You might not be comfortable to tell some secrets and problems with your parents and sometimes friends are just what you need. I am not saying that friends are more important than family but when the need arises, friends could be just what you need. To me, friends and family are just as important as each other.
